Vocational Routes

Although often the most typical route, it is not compulsory to have a degree to get in to the sector. There are vocational routes which you can take instead such as apprenticeships, NVQs, internships and on-the-job learning. Often these roles are initially unpaid or low-paid but can avoid the high course fees and student debt that come with studying at university. Such routes usually have a much more practical focus with on-the-job training rather than classroom-based learning.
